Malted Danish Whisky

Stauning Kaos is basically everything Stauning Whisky do - put together in one bottle.

- Stauning No-Smoke Single Malt from 2014
- Stauning Heather-Smoked Single Malt from 2014
- Stauning Peat-Smoked Single Malt from 2014
- Stauning Malted Rye from 2016

A bit of smoke, a bit of spice, sweetness and a lot of complexity and structure.

It is an extremely versatile whisky. For the full undiluted experience, drink it neat like a scotch, for a cool nightcap add ice for a bourbon/rye feel or spice up your classic whisky-based cocktail - e.g. try making a Kaos Manhattan (5 cl Kaos, 3 cl sweet vermouth and a dash of Angostura bitters). Another great drink is The Kaos Highball (In a tall glass add 5 cl of Kaos + ice cubes + your best sparkling water).

In Whisky Bible 2017 Jim Murray gave the 2016 edition of Kaos a 94,5 point Liquid Gold Award.

Jim Murray quote: "just too ridiculously beautiful""So many questions... so many confusing but magnificently delicious answers".

Everything is made on-site at their distillery using only the best raw materials and traditional production methods:

- Double pot still distilled
- Matured and bottled on site

The whisky has aged for between 3 to 5 years in a mix of 1st Fill Makers Mark Bourbon casks and Virgin American Oak - Heavy Char casks.
